Gore Verbinski is a director who has only done a handful of films (8, to be exact). These films are Mousehunt (which I loved when I was younger, but haven’t seen in a number of years), The Mexican, The Ring (one of the most solid horror movies of the last decade), The Weather Man (a completely underrated Nic Cage film), the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, and the currently-in-theatres Rango. He has 11 films in development over the course of the next two years, including The Lone Ranger, BioShock, and a remake of Clue!
