So get this: on a recent episode of Batman: Brave and the Bold (which, to me, sounds like the title of a superhero soap opera), Batman and Robin rescue – wait for it, wait for it – the gang from Scooby-Doo. Apparently the Joker, not having enough chaos and anarchy to cause in Gotham, decides to do the Scooby gang in by placing them on a giant scale. Under the platform with the Scooby-Doo gang: a pool of sharks. On the other platform: the gang’s weight in Scooby snacks. Trouble is…Scooby-Doo can’t resist Scooby snacks, and because of his lack of self-control, he finds himself eating his way to his friends’ demise! Luckily the caped crusader turns up to save the day! And in a strange twist, Weird Al Yankovic shows up. I can’t wait for Christopher Nolan to give this episode a gritty reboot in movie form.
