My very first edition of “Before They Were Stars” showcased a then-unknown Matthew McConaughey make his acting debut in a re-enactment on Unsolved Mysteries and it turns out Lost star Daniel Dae Kim did the same exact thing. This segment details the brutal New York City murder of a Korean immigrant named Su-Ya Kim and you get to see Daniel Dae Kim pop up at the 2:11 mark, playing the victim’s brother-in-law. On a personal note, the re-enactment where a security guard catches a mysterious blonde guy in jogging shorts disposing of Su-Ya’s body in a dumpster never fails to give me the willies.
