Come One, Come Two, Come All!

From Darren Lynn Bousman and Terrance Zdunich, the minds behind Repo! The Genetic Opera, comes The Devil’s Carnival, a 55-minute musical set in Hell. I find the short running time interesting, but it might be a good thing, as it could serve as an indicator that the filmmakers know not to overstay their welcome. From what I see here, The Devil’s Carnival looks like more of the same stuff as in Repo!, so that probably means that if you liked Repo! you’ll like this. I wish I could give more thoughts than that, but this style of intentional cult flick is a real love-it-of-hate-it kind of thing. Me? I quite enjoyed Repo!, so you can bet I’ll be watching this one, if only to hear the newest Zdunich rock opera tracks. What do you think? Could be a hell of a show!

The Devil’s Carnival won’t be getting a wide release, but it’s being toured around 30 cities starting in April. Click here to visit the official website for more details!
