In typical Christopher Nolan fashion, Bane’s demise(?) in The Dark Knight Rises was left ambiguous enough that the character could easily have survived. In this video from Funny or Die, we get a glimpse at what might have happened to him, thanks to Gotham city’s “Fresh Start” probation program. Gotham really must have a program like this, too – otherwise, how do you explain the fact that not a single Batman villain has ever been sentenced to death, no matter how heinous their crimes?
