Comedian and actor Jonathan Katz landed the role that he’s best known for very early in his career. After appearing in the TV movie Lip Service and in the films Things Change and Homicide, he starred in the cartoon Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist, which ran from 1995 until 2002. The character of Dr. Katz proved so popular that he began to make cameos on other shows such as South Park, Squidbillies, Help Me Help You, and Mr. Show with Bob and David. Other TV series on which Jonathan Katz appeared include Ink, Hercules, Home Movies, Explosion Bus, and Adventure Time with Finn & Jake. He’s also appeared in the films The Spanish Prisoner, The Independent, State and Main, Daddy Day Care, and Are We Done Yet? Jonathan Katz turns 66 today.
