Before They Were Stars: Stephen Colbert in John Cleese-Produced Training Videos

For two decades, John Cleese owned a production company called Video Arts, which specialized in producing training videos for companies. The twist is that Cleese would get his comedian friends to act in the videos in order to present the instructional material in a humorous fashion. In 1990, Cleese traveled to Second City in Chicago to allow a couple of their unknown comedic performers to appear in sketches in one of his training videos. Unfortunately, these particularly sketches were never used, so all that exists is this rough footage. But incidentally, one of those unknown performers just happened to be future Late Show host Stephen Colbert, who used to look an awful lot like Robert Downey Jr.!
