Before They Were Stars: Zack Snyder Directs “Michael Jordan’s Playground”

Zack Snyder and Michael Jordan are not two names you’d expect to ever work on a project together. But it happened! Believe it or not, Snyder’s official debut directorial debut was a 1990 home video release entitled Michael Jordan’s Playground. This documentary basically covers highlights of Jordan’s career and intercuts them with a cheesy story about Jordan befriending a kid on a basketball court. And because it’s from the early 1990s, it climaxes with an inspirational dance number. I don’t know about you, but I think Snyder should abandon all this Batman vs. Superman nonsense and reunite with Jordan for a long-overdue Space Jam reboot.
