Apparently, Glenn Beck mentioned on his show the other day that he once appeared as a background extra on an episode of Cheers. Well, when you type “Glenn Beck” and “Cheers” into Google, it turns out that one of the very first matches is The Back Row’s posting of that very scene, so it appears we’ve gotten a lot of extra traffic from curious Glenn Beck listeners these past few days. So I guess I shall dig even deeper into the obscurity archives and post this commercial from 1986 when Beck worked for the Phoenix radio station Y-95 and co-hosted a “morning zoo” program. And they obviously took that “morning zoo” moniker seriously by literally getting a chimp to appear in this ad.
