Before They Were Stars: Jason Alexander in “Everything’s Relative”

I’ve probably posted more “Before They Were Stars” commercials for Jason Alexander than any other actor (including one in which he appeared alongside the recently departed New York Yankee legend, Yogi Berra). For a change of pace, here’s the first time Alexander got the lead role on a sitcom… and it appears like it was one of the more forgettable sitcoms of all time. The sitcom in question was Everything’s Relative and it aired on CBS in 1987 for only six episodes before it was cancelled. I can find very little information about the plot of this show at all, except that it seemed to involve the wacky misadventures of two brothers in New York City and has what might be the most 1980s sitcom opening in the history of 1980s sitcoms.
