Here’s some rare audition footage of Sandra Bullock in 1991 when she was starting to establish herself as an actress, but was not yet a star. She does an amusing Jersey accent here and apparently, the movie she was auditioning for was Passed Away, a black comedy which was released the following year. Bullock did not get this role, which wound up going to Nancy Travis, but amusingly enough, both actresses would soon go on to star in the godawful American remake of The Vanishing in 1993.
