I’ll admit, I wasn’t particularly impressed with House of Cards season 3. After season 2 blew everyone away, season 3 seemed like a step backwards. The show’s quality was still great, but it just didn’t have that same Game of Thrones-in-the-White-House feeling that the second season had delivered. That being said, I’m still hopeful that season 4 will deliver the goods. Maybe they’re doing an on-again/off-again alternating pattern with the seasons, using odd-numbered seasons to set up the payoffs in even-numbered seasons. Either way, this is a show starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright that I get free with my Netflix subscription. You just know I’ll watch it.
