The road to the Batman v. Superman movie has been a very long one. The very idea of this film has probably been floating around for a decade, and it was teased as far back as 2009 in that infamous background joke from I Am Legend. But ever since the rollout for the movie started, I’ve found myself rather unimpressed. None of the trailers have actually gotten me excited for the film, and at most I’d call myself “curious” about it rather than enthused. But y’know, this latest trailer is actually pretty good. The Batman stuff at the beginning is especially cool, and I kinda wish they’d just made this a Batman movie without feeling the need to shoehorn the rest of the Justice League into it. Still, Wonder Woman looks pretty good, too. I think I’ll end up buying a ticket to a more deserving movie, then sneaking into this one, because I don’t want to spend money on it…but I still want to see how it turns out.
