Before They Were Stars: Daniel Radcliffe in “The Tailor of Panama”

You might assume that Daniel Radcliffe just came out of nowhere and shot to instant stardom when he was cast as Harry Potter, but he actually already had a few credits to his name at that point. His official cinematic debut came seven months before the release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone when he was cast alongside Pierce Brosnan, Geoffrey Rush and Jamie Lee Curtis in the big-screen adaptation of John le Carre’s spy novel, The Tailor of Panama. Radcliffe played the son of Rush’s character, who, ironically enough, is also named Harry.
