Before They Were Stars: Bob Odenkirk in a “Saturday Night Live” Sketch

Bob Odenkirk started off his career in comedy by being hired as a writer on the staff for Saturday Night Live in the late 1980s. During his tenure there, Odenkirk would sometimes appear in the sketches as a bit player or background extra. His first on-camera appearance on SNL was this particular sketch, where he stands next to Lorne Michaels holding a talking turtle.
