Before They Were Stars (2-for-1 Special): Bob Saget and Dave Coulier in an Elias Brothers Restaurant

Does this weekend’s launch of Fuller House on Netflix have you overloaded with feelings of Full House nostalgia? Well, get a load of this: three years before Full House was even on the air, the then-unknown comedy duo of Bob Saget and Dave Coulier appeared together in this commercial for the Elias Brothers restaurant chain. Saget and Coulier were actually great friends long before they were on Full House, as Coulier even lived with Saget and his wife and crashed on their couch while he was struggling to launch his comedy career. So I guess it’s only appropriate that Coulier finally achieved fame by playing a struggling comedian who crashes in Bob Saget’s basement.
