Before They Were Stars (2-for-1 Special): Chris Rock and Rosie O’Donnell Perform Stand-Up at Catch a Rising Star

Catch a Rising Star was a famous comedy club in New York City, where a ton of famous comedy figures got their start performing. In 1987, a TV special was filmed at Catch a Rising Star which featured performances by a bunch of aspiring stand-up comedians, two of whom eventually went on to much bigger things: Chris Rock and Rosie O’Donnell.
