Oh, Jack Huston. I want the best for you, I really do. You were terrific as Richard Harrow on Boardwalk Empire, and I thought you were great in Kill Your Darlings…but you need a new agent, dude. Between Twilight, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and now this remake of Ben-Hur, your track record isn’t looking very good. Besides, was anyone calling for a remake of that Charlton Heston classic? Especially one directed by the wacky, cartoonish action director Timur Bekmambetov, of Wanted and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter fame? This project is so misguided that it actually manages to make Morgan Freeman look silly.
Ben-Hur comes out August 12, 2016.
