Before They Were Stars (2-for-1 Special): Matthew McConaughey and Adrien Brody in “Angels in the Outfield”

You might remember the 1994 Disney baseball movie, Angels in the Outfield, starring the likes of Danny Glover, Christopher Lloyd and Tony Danza, but looking back on it now, it’s also got an awful lot of future star power. Of course, the movie featured Joseph Gordon-Levitt when he was only 13 years old, and even though he was already established as a child actor at this point, this marked his first official starring role in a movie. But it’s even crazier to see that two of the California Angels baseball players in this film were played by future Academy Award winners: Matthew McConaughey and Adrien Brody!
