Cell 211 is a Spanish film made last year about a new prison guard who gets knocked out during a riot on his first day and is mistaken for a prisoner by the escaping inmates. Now, trapped in the lion’s den, with the police poised to blast their way in, he has to find a way to escape with his life. Talk about a tense premise! I, for one, am intrigued. Plus, the film won a whole bunch of Goya awards when it came out in Spain last year, so there must be something to it.
Thanks to Crunstedler…er, Curtis Runstedler for this one!
