After a year and a half, in which Joaquin Phoenix apparently did cocaine, hired prostitutes, and crapped in his assistant’s mouth, Joaquin finally returned to Letterman looking like his old self. The interview, seen above, is a great watch, and it’s kinda comforting to see Joaquin back to his “normal” self. He also gives some insight into his and Casey Affleck’s motivation in making I’m Still Here, which boosted my respect for the project a little.
