Here he is in all his glory. The Primus frontman who does things with the bass that make mere mortals weep tears of funk. I’ve been a fan of Primus since I was 12, and since then this is the guy who I’ve always held as my gold standard in bassists. I grew up on a lot of grunge and mid-90s alt rock, and I always had Les to prove that a bassist could do more than just following the power chords played by the guitarist on a single string.
