The debate wages on as to whether post-converted 3D effects will ever work. With the 3D in post-converted movies like The Last Airbender and Clash of the Titans getting panned (as well as the movies themselves), I’m pretty wary of the 3D conversion process. I mean, maybe we just haven’t seen it done with any effort yet, since both Airbender and Titans were rush jobs. Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland was post-converted, and while it wasn’t offensively bad, it just made the movie look like a pop-up book. I’m approaching the upcoming The Green Hornet with much trepidation.
All that being said, Schindler’s List 3D is going to be awesome, just you wait and see.
