Brent Spiner spent years playing Data on “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and in 4 of the Star Trek films. He also made appearances in “Enterprise” playing Dr. Arik Soong. While he has appeared in a number of films that do not take place aboard the Starship Enterprise, I will always fondly remember him from his comical appearance in Independence Day.
