One would think that the continuing disaster that is Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark would sway investors from turning other superhero properties into musicals, but no! According to the BBC this massive on stage production cost millions, and promises a 100-foot stage “that will house scale models of Gotham City and a circus tent.” The show also promises a Batmobile, martial arts and “gadgets.”
Well, that all sounds good! It’s almost a pity this is only showing in the UK. Batman Live goes live at the Manchester Evening News Arena on July 19, 2011.
