John Rhys-Davies is an actor. While he has appeared in a significant number of films and television shows, he will always be most fondly remembered from two franchises: playing Sallah in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and playing Gimli in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
