In anticipation for this weekend’s long-awaited Cowboys & Aliens, it’s fun to reminisce just how far Harrison Ford had to climb before he became one of the biggest stars. One of my earliest “Before They Were Stars” featured Ford’s unremarkable film debut as a bellhop in Dead Heat on a Merry-Go-Round, and here is his very brief, uncredited follow-up role as an angry motorist in a comedy called Luv, which consists of him climbing out of a car, saying “hi” and punching Jack Lemmon in the face. Hilariously enough, Harrison’s attire here completely resembles Han Solo’s wardrobe, except that his shirt is purple and he’s wearing a beret!
