The trailer for Francis Ford Coppola’s third film of the past decade, a strange, supernatural horror tale called Twixt, has recently appeared online after having been shown at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film stars Val Kilmer as a tired mystery writer who decides to collaborate with a small-town sheriff on a book about a local serial killer. Along the way he meets Edgar Allan Poe and a ghostly girl played by Elle Fanning. I don’t have much to say beyond that, except…colour me intrigued.
Twixt doesn’t have a distributor yet, but hopes to nab one at TIFF.
