John Slattery is an American actor whose credits date back to 1988 when he was cast in the short lived Dirty Dozen: The Series. Since then, Slattery has made a name for himself with television and acting credits, but his television work is definitely better known than his cinematic roles. Slattery has played characters on such popular TV series as Will and Grace, Law and Order, Desperate Housewives, Sex and the City and 30 Rock, and his movie credits include parts in films like Flags of our Fathers, Charlie Wilson’s War, The Adjustment Bureau and Iron Man 2. But the best role Slattery has ever played has to be that of ad executive Roger Sterling on Mad Men – seen in the picture above. Isn’t that just the portrait of stylishness? Slattery turns 49 today.
