Steve Martin. The man’s name is practically synonymous with comedy. Whether you love him or hate him, Martin’s comedy credentials are nothing short of extraordinary, as he has written and acted in dozens of famous films, including The Jerk, The Muppet Movie, Little Shop of Horrors, Roxanne, Father of the Bride, The Spanish Prisoner, Parenthood, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid, L.A. Story (a personal favourite of mine) and more. What’s more, Martin is skilled in many different forms of entertainment beyond acting, as he’s a skilled magician, a talented banjo player, a good singer and he can spin a lassoo! And if all of that isn’t enough to impress you…well, EXCUUUUUUSE MEEEEE!!! Steve Martin turns 66 today.
