It’s amazing to think that in the late 1960s, some of the greatest actors of all time were stuck doing car commercials. I’ve already showcased the Volkswagen ad that Dustin Hoffman appeared in before he found fame, and here’s a commercial for the AMC Ambassador featuring a young Robert De Niro! It appears that AMC car commercials were pretty popular amongst actors who appeared in The Godfather films as here’s another one from that time period featuring Abe Vigoda. Man, was Abe Vigoda EVER young?!
