The Huffington Post gave us a generous plug the other day (even if they did mistakenly refer to our website as The Back Stage!) when they featured Bill Maher’s “Before They Were Stars” turn in Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death, but as they pointed out, Mr. Maher took quite a few atypical roles in films and TV shows during the 1980s, back when he was actually making an attempt at an acting career. Believe it or not, he actually made guest appearances on two separate episodes of Murder, She Wrote as two different characters, but this particular clip is significant because it shows Maher interacting with David Huddleston, the actor who played The Big Lebowski! “Your revolution is over, Mr. Maher. Condolences. The bums lost. My advice is to do what your parents did: get a job, sir! The bums will always lose. Do you hear me, Maher? The bums will always lose!”
