The Charles Bronson classic, Death Wish, is known for showcasing Jeff Goldblum’s infamous acting debut in the very atypical role of a mugger/rapist, but it also provided comedy legend Christopher Guest with one of his earliest roles as well. He pops up near the end of the film as an N.Y.P.D. patrolman and I kept waiting for Charles Bronson to suddenly appear and say: “Hello. My name is Paul Kersey. You killed my wife. Prepare to die”.
