One of the most obscure movies that I ever went to see in a theater during my childhood was Ski Patrol, a long-forgotten 1990 comedy about wacky hijacks at a ski resort, which was originally advertised as “Police Academy on the slopes”. Yeah, it was about as good as it sounds. However, the film is notable for featuring the acting debut of George Lopez, whose character is subject to a running gag where he keeps doing bad Rodney Dangerfield impressions. Well, at least you can’t say that it wasn’t material worthy of George Lopez.
