Want to see a future multiple-time Academy Award winner robbing another multiple-time Academy Award winner at gunpoint? After working for several years on stage, Kevin Spacey made his film debut with a bit part in the 1986 Mike Nichols-directed drama, Heartburn. He plays a young punk who stalks Meryl Streep on the subway before following her to her therapy group and stealing everyone’s valuables. Another interesting bit of trivia is that Heartburn also happened to be the film debut of Tony Shalhoub, but his entire role was left on the cutting room floor.
