Whereas at first I had high hopes for Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance upon seeing the early trailers for it, my anticipation of this movie has dwindled severely. But in spite of the fact that I’m sure this film will be a bit of a trainwreck, you’ve gotta admire the gumption of directors Neveldine and Taylor, as they seem to readily put their own lives at risk just to get the crazy shots that we’ll be seeing in this movie. Rollerblading behind motorcycles, hanging from wires – these guys have passion and energy to spare, and even if this movie sucks, they rule for putting themselves in harm’s way for the sake of our entertainment.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance comes out February 17, 2012.
