Freddie Prinze Jr. began his acting career with a guest role on Family Matters in 1995, but it was 1997 that brought him into the limelight with his role in I Know What You Did Last Summer and its sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer – both movies trying to cash in on the teen slasher revival that Scream ushered into popularity. The popularity of the I Know What You Did Last Summer films led to Freddie starring in the successful (if cliche) rom-com She’s All That. In the early 2000s, however, Freddie Prinze Jr.’s popularity began to wane, and his films Wing Commander, Down to You, Summer Catch, and Scooby-Doo (as well as its sequel Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed) were all met with mild success. In more recent years, Freddie has been indulging his love of wrestling, blogging his thoughts on WWE matches and appearing as a special guest host on WWE Raw. He is currently a producer and director of World Wrestling Entertainment. He also provided voice work for the new video game Mass Effect 3. Freddie Prinze Jr. turns 36 today.
