Lee Pace is an actor whose career is starting to pick up steam. Having developed a taste for acting in high school, Pace studied at Houston, Texas’ Alley Theatre as well as Juilliard School’s drama division before graduating and starring in several off-Broadway plays, earning much acclaim in the process. In 2002, Pace acted in his first television role on an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and a year later he starred in the TV movie Soldier’s Girl, for which he received many accolades. In 2004, he played a character on the short-lived TV series Wonderfalls, and in 2005 he made his film debut in the movie The White Countess. Since then, he has appeared in films like The Fall, Infamous, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, Possession, A Single Man, Marmaduke, The Resident, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, and also starred in another great series that was cancelled too soon: Pushing Daisies. He’ll be seen next in Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln biopic, as well as the two films of The Hobbit. Lee Pace turns 33 today.
