When I was a kid, I used to absolutely love the old black and white TV series The Addams Family, and one of my favourite characters was definitely the Frankenstein-like butler Lurch. While there were sequel and spinoff series of The Addams Family, as well as movies and cartoons based on the property, I don’t think there was ever a better Lurch than the original: Ted Cassidy.
