There are no two ways about it: Peter Dinklage is the friggin’ man. Dinklage’s professional on-screen career began with a small role in the highly underrated film Living in Oblivion, wherein he plays a dwarf actor who is frustrated with his cliched part in the film-within-a-film of that movie. Dinklage’s breakout film performance came in 2003 with his lead role in the excellent film The Station Agent, and since then he’s been popping up everywhere, with his film credits including movies such as Elf, Penelope, Death at a Funeral (both versions), Underdog, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Saint John of Las Vegas, and the upcoming Knights of Badassdom. His TV roles are numerous as well, with some of his more notable TV credits including Life As We Know It, Threshold, Nip/Tuck, 30 Rock, and, of course, Game of Thrones. Peter Dinklage rules, and I can’t wait to see more of him. He turns 43 today.
