Ottawa filmmaker Karim Ayari, who directed the shorts Spoon and Toast Mortem (the latter featuring Robin and I!), has made a feature film, and it actually stars an old friend whom Robin and I know from taking a screenwriting course together: Ron Tarrant! In other words, there’s some great talent behind Thirteen Downs, and having briefly helped out on the film, I can safely say that this is going to be terrific.
