Time for another celebrity “That Guy” birthday! Larry Miller is an actor, a comedian, a voice actor, a columnist, and a podcaster, and he’s been working since 1982. A good friend of Jerry Seinfeld, Miller was one of the actors considered for the role of George Costanza on Seinfeld before Jason Alexander got the part. Miller frequently appears in films by Garry Marshall and Christopher Guest, and he got his film debut in a bit role in the 1989 movie Three Fugitives. In 1990, he played a significant role in Pretty Woman, and since then, he’s appeared in such films as L.A. Story, Suburban Commando, Necessary Roughness, Corrina, Corrina, Radioland Murders, The Nutty Professor, 10 Things I Hate About You, Runaway Bride, Nutty Professor II: The Klumps, Best in Show, The Princess Diaries, A Mighty Wind, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Bee Movie, Get Smart, Alpha and Omega, and God Bless America. He’s also done an extensive amount of work in television, on shows such as Seinfeld, Dr. Katz, Law & Order, Mad About You, Hercules, Dilbert, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, 8 Simple Rules…for Dating My Teenage Daughter, King of the Hill, Medium, Desperate Housewives, Monk, Boston Legal, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. He currently hosts a weekly podcast called This Week with Larry Miller, and has written episodes of the TV shows Uncommon Sense, Just Words, and Pros & Cons. Larry Miller turns 59 today.
