I have nothing against Gemma Arterton as an actress, but Gemma, if you’re reading this: fire your agent! Gemma Arterton’s love of acting began in elementary school plays, and she left school at the age of 16 to attend an acting college. She studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and made her film debut a year before her graduation in the film St. Trinian’s. Following her graduation in 2008, she appeared in the James Bond film Quantum of Solace, the BBC adapation of Tess of the D’Urbervilles, and Guy Ritchie’s RockNRolla. Following 2010, however, she’s appeared in some real stinkers, such as Clash of the Titans, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and the upcoming Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. Yeesh! Gemma Arterton turns 28 today, and fun fact: she was born with six fingers on each hand!
