It’s become a fun tradition here at The Back Row for me to do “Before They Were Stars” features on the Academy Award nominees shortly after they’ve been announced. Naomi Watts has garnered her second career Oscar nomination this year for her role in The Impossible, which means she’s come quite a long way from doing commercials in her native Australia. I’ve previously showcased old ads she did for Tampax and roast lamb, so here’s one for Crunchie candy bar where she shamelessly mugs for the camera when Crunchie causes her T-shirt to change colour.
