There is shockingly little information online concerning the background of actor David Margulies, even though he has appeared in some seriously famous movies! Having studied at City College of New York, Margulies began his professional acting career on the Broadway and off-Broadway stages, appearing in productions of Angels in America, The Iceman Cometh, and Conversations with My Father. He made his film debut in 1972’s Scarecrow in a Garden of Cucumbers as the character of Walter Mitty (made famous by Danny Kaye in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty), and since then he has acted in such movies as Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters 2, Nine 1/2 Weeks, and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, and on such TV shows as Tales from the Darkside, The Equalizer, American Playhouse, Northern Exposure, Law & Order, The Sopranos, and The Good Wife.
