My first exposure to Bob Saget was the same as most people – when I was a kid, I adored America’s Funniest Home Videos (okay, I still do), and since Saget was the host I watched him on a weekly basis. My sister also loved his sitcom Full House, and looking back, it’s actually really funny to think that, unbeknownst to us, behind all the wholesome, family-friendly comedy, was one of the filthiest comedic minds the world has ever known. Full House and America’s Funniest Home Videos both helped to launch Saget’s show business career, and he hosted AFV for eight years before handing off hosting duties to Hollywood Squares host Tom Bergeron. Since then, Saget has appeared on such shows as Entourage, Louie, Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: LA, Surviving Suburbia, and provides the voice of future Ted Mosby on How I Met Your Mother. He has also appeared in films such as Half Baked, Dumb & Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd, and The Aristocrats. Bob Saget turns 57 today.
