Nicolas Winding Refn’s new film Only God Forgives infamously got booed at Cannes, but screw Cannes, because this movie looks absolutely mesmerizing. This trailer alone is just so slick – lusciously lit in neon, scored with eerie electronic music, and loaded with an unsettling atmosphere that implies a whole lot of gruesome violence. In other words, this is exactly what everyone loved about Drive. Let’s see if it measures up!
