Kids at a first-time offenders’ boot camp discover the legend of lumberjack Paul Bunyan is real, but is much more horrifying than they could have imagined. They incur the wrath of the 15-foot monstrous giant, who was banished from town 100 years ago and thought dead.
I always get a funny feeling when I post about something that was covered very early in TBR’s infancy, and Axe Giant: The Wrath of Paul Bunyan is one such thing. I posted about this movie before it was even made, back when this site was only a couple of months old. At the time it was simply called Bunyan, and a trailer was even released with that title, but now it looks like the film is finally nearing completion and they’ve changed the title to Axe Giant: The Wrath of Paul Bunyan. Not as good, in my opinion. Now, I wish I could say that I think this looks awesome, but it’s really quite cheesy. Still, I like the design of Bunyan. I wonder if there’s going to be a big blue ox in there somewhere.
Axe Giant: The Wrath of Paul Bunyan is available on DVD right now!
