In this news segment which aired shortly after Kurt Cobain’s death in 1994, the earliest known footage of Nirvana was broadcast, showing them performing their song, “Paper Cuts”, inside a Radio Shack in 1988. In actuality, the store was owned by one of Cobain’s friends in their hometown of Aberdeen, Washington and he let them play in there after hours, but I find the idea of Nirvana performing inside a corporate chain store hilarious.
