Here’s a very obscure project for the childhood acting career of the late Paul Walker, who joined the cast of a syndicated sitcom called Throb at the age of 12. The show aired from 1986-88 and its story involved a divorced single mom getting a job at a record company. Walker played the woman’s son, though he would be replaced by another actor for the second season. Throb is also notable for having a pre-Frasier Jane Leeves in its cast, who had previous experience on The Benny Hill Show at this point, but Throb marked her first appearance on American television.
